We promote the redefinition of Sustainability and Energy Efficiency in Buildings, from construction to usage.

VIVA Domus was born from the training, experience, ambition, and principles of Flávio Mota, who in mid-2019 started this Project in Portugal.
Today, we are a group of technicians, who, from their national and international experience, share a holistic and integrated vision of the projects.
By combining the hybrid construction system (Wood + Concrete + Metal) with efficient equipment, used for the optimal production and consumption of energy and resources, we believe that our project adds value to the rebalancing of the climate neutrality of our societies, and promotes the creation of better living spaces, both in the present and in the future.
These goals are pursued through the application of innovative and environmentally friendly materials and construction techniques, both in building's infrastructures and in their surrounding areas.
We promote the redefinition of sustainability and energy efficiency in buildings, by minimizing the need for heating and cooling, and rationalizing the consumption of resources, from construction to usage.
We see our buildings as welcoming spaces that provide quality of life for their users, assets that fulfil the expectations and plans from their managers, beings that contribute to minimize our global environmental footprint.

Values

  • Sustainability and Energy Efficiency

Reduction of the energy consumptions – reduction up to 90% of HVAC systems needs (heating and cooling) in our buildings

Reduction of the Ecological Footprint – substantial decrease of CO₂ emissions, throughout the entire life cycle of our buildings

Wood – renewable and sustainable raw material

  • Competence and Professionalism

Technicians – professionals with continuous training, and proven experience, both national and international

Tools – permanent monitoring of the latest technical and product solutions available on the market, in order to meet the highest expectations from investors, managers and users of our buildings

  • Rigorous Planning.

Project – competent and detailed definition of all technical and financial elements

Pre-fabrication – pursuit of the highest quality of our projects, through the adoption of standardized construction techniques, of higher productivity, reliability and quality

  • nada

    Economic Viability.

Construction time – significant shortening, with the possibility of an earlier start of usage (better ROI)

Planning and Budgeting accuracy – maximisation of the planning quality and minimisation of budget deviations, accomplished by an exhaustive planning and process automation

  • nada
Maintenance – cost reduction through pre-installation of networks (energy, water and sanitary) in a controlled environment (production line), thus ensuring a greater overall quality. In parallel, the possibility of a significant reduction of the mechanical elements, due to the minimization of the energy needs for HVAC equipments (heating and cooling systems) and resources in our infrastructures
  • Legal framework – compliance with the latest standards and legislation of the construction sector, as well as fulfilment of requirements for public incentive lines and financial advantages

Durability – construction of infrastructures and usage of equipment with longer life expectancy

Wood and its sub-products – versatile, timeless and a high value asset, at any time

Services

One Partner. One Challenge. One Project.

Procurement

  • In a coordinated work with investors, project managers, designers and suppliers, we create the conditions for the definition of guidelines, planning and execution of hybrid buildings construction projects.
  • Through a dynamic and growing network of contacts, we look at each moment for the most advanced solutions for each project, not only from a technical but also from a financial point of view, based on the needs and requirements of each challenge

Project Management

  • Proposal and discussion of technical and financial solutions with project owners
  • Coordination and controlling of the design, from plan to building specifications
  • Collection and analysis of proposals, negotiation and awarding of contracts
  • Scheduling and coordination of the various contractors at the construction site
  • Regular supervision of works, schedules and contractual requirements, in their quality, and financial aspects, in coordination with the site manager
  • Regular control and planning meetings, with all interlocutors, coordinated with stakeholders and the certifying entity
